This was the first trading card set I designed for Inkworks and it ended up winning product of the year from Non Sports Update Magazine in 2001.

A premium, limited, chrome-look set with all-new images telling the Buffy tale, from its beginning in Season 1 to previews of Season 6. In addition to the 50-card base set, this product has a refractor chrome-look parallel set and a set of nine foil portrait cards. There are four cards plus one refractor card per pack. Display boxes are a cigar-box style and contain 24 packs.

Excerpts from Non Sports update review, full review here http://www.tradingcardreviews.com/reviews/non_sports/JourneyCenterEarth.htm
“Take a wide-eyed three dimensional tumble to the center of the Earth!
Inkworks announces the release of Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D Premium Trading Cards. Put on your 3D glasses (two pair in every box) and you’ll be transported to a world of eye-popping adventures and incredible creatures in this all 3D 50-card base set!”
“Journey To The Center Of The Earth 3D by Inkworks is a truly unique card collecting experience! The 3D action in these cards is really one of the nicest looking card sets we’ve ever seen. In order to capture all the beauty of the 3D movie, Inkworks has created a great 3D work of art on these cards. To allow collectors to be able to experience it in all it’s glory, they have been kind enough to include two pairs of 3D glasses in each box.
As with almost all of Inkworks’ boxes of cards, they more than met their guarantee of at least one complete base set of cards in each box. In this box of Journey To The Center Of The Earth, there were two complete sets, plus some extra base cards. The Pieceworks authentic show worn costume card from our review box is of a shirt worn by Brendan Fraser as Trevor. There are several really nice options for show worn costume cards, but I think that getting a piece of costume worn by the movie’s biggest star is a great addition to anybody’s collection. Inkworks has once again added in some great insert cards that any collector will be sure to enjoy. We got one of the die cut cards from the “Challenging The Unknown” subset. There were also three of the puzzle cards from the “Forgotten World” insert set. The last insert card that was in this review box was one from the “Prehistoric Peril” set. Again, all of these insert sets have the 3D technology on them and look even better than the base cards!
The costume card that was in the TradingCardReviews review box was probably the best one to pull in the entire set, so that was a pretty exciting pack to bust open. As always, the inserts did a great job of telling the story of the movie, which in this case is Journey To The Center Of The Earth 3D. It’s hard to believe that a trading card set could begin to capture the quality and action of a 3D movie, but Inkworks has done another great job with this non-sports card set!”

Inkworks has produced a dazzling trading card series capturing Scooby-Doo and the Gang in their first ever live-action film (June, 2002). The cast includes Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, Freddie Prinze Jr. (Fred), Matthew Lillard (Shaggy), Linda Cardellini (Velma), and Scooby Doo!
